WHITE WATER DESIGN
Designed Around You. Your Home. Your Space.
Beautiful spaces don’t happen by chance.
They are the result of careful planning, thoughtful design decisions, and a well-managed process.
At White Water Design, we believe cabinet design should never feel like an afterthought in a renovation. It should be intentionally planned from the beginning to aligned with the layout, timing, budget, and installation.
Our cabinet design process is structured, collaborative, and designed to remove uncertainty while keeping you fully informed at every stage.

Process
Step 1: In-Home Consultation
Listening First. Designing Second.
Every cabinet design project begins in your home.
We evaluate the space, study the layout, observe light flow, and understand how the room is currently used. Most importantly, we listen—learning what works, what doesn’t, and what matters most to you.
This in-person consultation allows us to:
- Assess architectural constraints
- Identify storage opportunities
- Understand renovation scope
- Discuss style direction
- Align expectations around investment and timing
Design starts with clarity—and clarity starts on-site.
Step 2: Our Design Letter
Defining the Scope with Clarity.
Following the initial consultation, we prepare our Design Letter—an outline of the proposed scope of work and the design services included in the next phase of the project.
This typically includes field measurements, design consultation, and 3D CAD cabinet renderings that help bring the space into view and guide important decisions related to layout, style, finish, and function.
An initial design fee applies at this stage. When cabinetry is ultimately purchased through White Water Design, that amount is applied toward the final cabinet investment.
This phase creates alignment before cabinetry is specified in detail.
Step 3: Design Development & Selections
Refining the Details.
Once the cabinet design phase is underway, we begin shaping the project into a fully resolved cabinetry plan.
This includes the thoughtful review and selection of:
- Layout refinements
- Cabinet styles and door profiles
- Finishes and color direction
- Interior storage features
- Hardware and functional enhancements
- Budget alignment and design priorities
This is where vision, function, and detail come together, ensuring all elements are reviewed and agreed upon before final cabinetry specifications are released.
Step 4: Ordering, Delivery & Installation Oversight
Precision Through Completion.
Once all design details are finalized and approved, we move into ordering and project coordination.
We oversee:
- Final specification review
- Cabinet ordering and confirmation
- Delivery scheduling
- Installation coordination
- Fit and finish oversight
Cabinetry must integrate precisely with surrounding materials, appliances, flooring, and finish work. Our continued involvement helps ensure the design is executed as intended through the final stages of the renovation.
Because thoughtful cabinet design deserves disciplined follow-through.
